Retail Design Expo 2015 represents a great opportunity for those interested in retail design and marketing to discover the latest innovations in the industry. Here’s a little insight into why our systems continue to suit retail environments across the globe.

Versatility has always been at the heart of product innovations at Gripple; it’s allowed us to successfully solve our customers problems for over 25 years and it’s well characterised by our Standard Hanger range. Available in 5 different sizes, supporting safe working loads from 15 - 325kg and with a 5:1 safety ratio, the Standard Hanger can be used to suspend a wide array of building services and represents an ideal solution for the lighter requirements of retail applications.

Convenience is a key factor for a lot of contractors using Gripple products today. The Express Range is a great example of the speed and ease of use our solutions provide during your install. Used largely in the suspension of lighting, signage and shopfitting services, the Express hanger is available in two sizes (the XP1 and larger XP2) and boasts a keyless release mechanism, allowing rapid adjustment and negating the need for tools to adjust (Victory Design Ltd used the Express Range recently on a signage suspension project – you can view the results here). All Gripple products are supplied as kits, with your specified length of wire and choice of end fixing, so there’s no need for cutting or filing on site. Couple the simplicity of this solution with the ‘off-site’ nature of our product offering and the time and labour savings are substantial.

For more architectural suspensions, our latest addition to the signage and shopfitting family, the Angel Hanger, represents Gripple’s most aesthetic suspension solution to-date and a must for those seeking discreet solutions that take nothing away from the overall suspension. Another product boasting one-handed adjustment, the Angel uses 1.5 mm wire rope, ensuring the suspension is as discreet as possible. Developing our discreet suspension solutions even further, we’re excited to be showcasing our black range for the first time at RDE, a product which we believe will prove to be powerful not only in retail applications, but arts and culture environments too.

When the method of suspension is a little trickier, we provide a Catenary system, creating a secondary span between two support structures, giving you far more options to suspend your services. Visually discreet and incorporating locking mechanisms which prevent dynamic movements, we’re seeing our Catenary systems used in retail environments, notably at Marks and Spencer’s flagship store, Cheshire Oaks.
