Gripple is going on a bear hunt in Sheffield.
Gripple are proud to be part of this summer’s attraction in Sheffield. Not only raising money for The Sheffield Children’s Hospital but also joining in with the excitement of the sculpture trail.
The Bears of Sheffield is a unique sculpture trail scattered around the city for all to see. Every pound raised through donations, sponsorship and fundraising will help build a new Cancer and Leukaemia ward at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
The Gripple bear will be along the trail with 59 other large bears, all sponsored by companies in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. There will also be a little bear trail with 100 bears decorated and sponsored by local schools.
Our Gripple bear was painted by the very talented Jay Cover’s and named ‘Plants and Bees’. The bear is inspired by nature and was painted in springtime, so inspiration was all around. Look out for the Gripple bear previews in the coming weeks on our social media channels.
Event Organiser Cheryl Davidson said: “The Bears of Sheffield will be a great opportunity for everyone to get outside, explore Sheffield and celebrate our wonderful city, all for a good cause.
“It will showcase the vision, creativity and generosity of our community.”
