Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd. is setting up soft drink bottling plant at Sanand in the Ahamedabad district of
Gujarat.

This bottling plant will be manufacturing bottles for its carbonated beverages and juice based drinks such as Coca Cola, Thums Up, Minute Maid and packaged water. The project cost is around 500 Cr, and has been built on 185 lakh square meters of land.

Due to a double layer of metal sheet on the ceiling, the purlin was not visible to take support meaning it was difficult for the client to suspend the HVAC services in the building. The consultant and contractor had planned for pre holes to be located when installing the metal sheet which meant that Gripple was able to provide a solution with the Standard Hanger kit with Toggle End Fixing. Using traditional methods would have been a time consuming process with this type of building construction.

In total more than 1,000 Gripple kits with varying wire lengths were used on this project. Gripple’s ready-to-use kits can be supplied for the correct drop-length whereas threaded rod needs to be fabricated on-site to meet the required lengths.
