Northwest Sheet Metal (NWSM) worked on this exciting new addition to the Vancouver Robson street area. Residential development with 5,500-sq-ft of retail, and restaurant space on the ground level, with leisure facilities and rooftop patio.

Project deadlines were tight. In discussing product selection, project foreman Barry Patch decided to utilise Gripple’s Spider cast-in inserts and toggle attachment solutions to minimise installation time.

The elimination of silica dust concerns on the job site was also a concern that was mitigated through the product selection. Keeping employees happy and healthy is a driving force for the contractor.

The Gripple Duct Trapeze was also used to suspend rectangular duct instead of using a hanger strap. This made for a much cleaner-looking installation with small adjustments being possible if needed when levelling the duct.
