GPAK and Fenox make light work for English Wines
Posted: 29/06/2009
It’s anchoring, the Gripple way.
Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, Chapel Down vineyard is a beautiful new 72-acre site situated just outside Maidstone. To maintain its idyllic look, vineyard manager Craig Daly, of the English Wines Group, was extremely keen to use only the best products to secure his trellis wires.
Our universal Gripple Plus Anchors Kits (GPAKs) were installed along the entire length of the site, ensuring stable and secure anchoring for over 800 rows. We at Gripple were there to help out with the installation, providing all the support English Wines needed to familiarise themselves with our products, and show them just how time-saving and easy to use they really are.
GPAKs are ideal for both vineyards and orchards, and can be installed on either wooden or metal posts in under a minute, making for an extremely fast and simple operation. The Fenox Anchor solution, an integral part of the system, offers - quite literally – a ground-breaking approach to anchoring in hard, rocky terrain.
With English Wines feeling so positive about our anchoring solutions, they plan to use Gripple on many more of their plantations.
